In this interactive presentation, we will look at how Adaku Arhin, Grade 5 teacher at Hillcrest Academy in Laval, uses a combination of old and new technology to bring the story of the Underground Railroad to life.

Using books, iPad apps and videoconferencing, Adaku immerses her students in the subject, always mindful of her goal of having her students develop a love affair with books.
